At Richard Gill School we are welcomed by the children singing in oneness the World Harmony Song. They are really talented singers! They even join us while singing the Peace Run song! They fill us with joy while singing most moving songs about unity, love and friendship. For instance they sing and mime with all their hearts:
"It takes two to talk together, two to walk together, two to share a story or an ice cream cone"

What a joy meeting you dear children. Before leaving, you melted our hearts singing so beautifully "Peace", composed by the Peace Run founder, Sri Chinmoy. And then, with a happy and encouraging note, you waved us goodbye singing "Bravo Bravissimo". Our running will be so much easier with your joyful smiles for peace!

“To live on the outskirts of hope Is not enough. Cultivate a hope-life Inside the very breath Of your moment-to-moment existence.” - Sri Chinmoy

Thank you Pacific Brook School! It's been so special sharing this moment for peace together and getting to meet you all.

At Islington Public School children and teachers are celebrating the book week, dressing up as their favorite book character. We feel part of your story now. Next time we might find some of you dressed as Peace Runners!

Thank you for receiving us so beautifully! Let's carry the Peace Flame in your hearts at every moment.

We made it! We have arrived in Newcastle. We love running through the city with the ocean view and meeting cheering people all around!

We thank Woolworths Maitland and Woolworths Metro East Newcastle for your very helpful food donation for our meals.

We meet big hearts as we run to our accommodation for the night. Newcastle Beach YHA hosts us all and we love it there. We get to play ping pong and enjoy their very well equipped kitchen, where we cook a most delicious dinner: mashed potatoes, vegetables, coconut drink and much more!
