Reported by Patricio da Rocha

Lisbon - the capital of Portugal. Our final stage of the Peace Run 2013 in this beautiful country....

our first meeting: the Padre Antonio Vieira School

thanks for the meeting!

E.B.1. Sao Joao de Deus School is taking part in international programes as "Portugal no Mundo" and "Comenus" project

The kids enjoyed the Peace Run games...

We were refreshed by the shade of blooming trees on our way to the next school

Running among the trafic brought us some nice surprises

at the Passos Manuel School we had a funny experience and we ended up laughing with the students...

after the school we stop for a typical Portuguese patrie the "pastel de Belem"

here it is: "pastel de Belem" - really delicious

while running through the city we enrolled some new peace dreamers on our world-wide team

and finally arrived at our next destination...

The meditative silence of the Zen Dojo was only interrupted by some wooden gong and -bell sounds that were used for the rituals...

We got a very nice reception by our Zen-friends Joana and Yves

We offered incense to the Lord Bhudda

The foos was simply excellent!

Happy birthday Sandra!

Thank you dear friends...

theRun proceed with Jorge Pina and Raquel supporting the team...

at Camoes High School, we pass by the statue of Luis the Camoes, the autor of the "Lusiadas", the famous epic of the Portuguese.

the students were entusiastic and asked some very nice questions...

We went arround the school on an improvised running track...

thanks and see you next year...

The World Heritage Tower of Belem was our final destination where we enjoyed the sweet and cooling wind coming from the sea.
