Mayor Kristian Price welcomes all the Peace Runners to Townsville. He talked about the importance of serving the community and strengthening the connection between people to create a harmonious society
We presented Mayor Kristian Price with an artwork by Peace Run founder Sri Chinmoy. The artwork, "Imagine and dream the world peace dream" is a representation that peace can also be expressed through the arts.

It is always a pleasure to meet people like you, as we run around the continent, who are genuinely committed to serving the ideal of harmony and unity
Two Latvian boys, Edgars and Peteris, are ready to run through the streets of Townsville and carry the Peace Torch to the top of Castle Hill.
