Preparing the Peace Run vehicles for the big day ahead as we start our journey into Austria

At the top of the hill, in the village of Freinberg, children are waiting for us.

Freinberg is a small farming town. The children are meeting us on their Sports Ground which has one of the most panoramic views you could imagine.

A moment of Peace.

Now for the dynamic part of the presentation where the children join us for a rendition of the World Harmony Run song.

A demonstration of behaviour that is not peaceful by our award winning thespians.

And now peaceful behaviour, where are Irish runner, Sadanand Magee, is hoisted aloft by his compatriots.

Preparing to release the balloons and the messages of Peace.

Up up and away ....

Pepino leads the children on a speedy run.

Roni from Brazil speeding along the road.

Fatima from Guatemala takes a moment to contemplate the peaceful flow of the river Danube.

Goga reaches top speed.

At the top of another hill, after a steep climb, we meet children in St Aegidi.

The children carry the torch to their school.

The rest of the school are eagerly awaiting our arrival.

The children perform a beautiful song, "Come sing with us for Peace".

Oh yes!

Oh no!

Determined concentration on the heart.

The Mayor of St Aegidi - Mr. Klaus Paminger - receives a certificate of Appreciation and a Jharna Kala painting.

The schoolchildren display the presents they have received from the Peace Run team.

Passing the torch.

The Mayor and his colleague sport their new Peace Run T-shirts. Thank you to the Mayor and the people of St Aegidi for spontaneously offering us a sumptuous lunch with local fresh asparagus.

Jovana from Serbia makes friends with our host's 3 month old puppy.

This plaque at our accommodation is a reminder of the floods of 2013.

The Danube is so peaceful in the evening, under a crimson sky.
