Saranyu from Australia introduces the Run to an attentive audience

The children were very bright and quick at guessing the runners' different countries

Jana and Nina from the Czech Republic performing a traditional dance from their country

Feeling and sharing peace

World Harmony Run

We offer this beautiful Jharna Kala artwork by the founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy, as a reminder that peace can be offered in many ways

Now let's run for peace

The children created a double relay, extending around the big sports' field. The Torch went around multiple times. These children are ready to join the team

Teachers joined too. it was so much fun.

Afterwards everyone joined together to run as a big group.

The team was invited to have some refreshments in the staff room. What a lovely treat :) thank you

Children were having lunch too. They were happy to see us again.

Thank you St. Mary's Primary School for this wonderful gathering today. We received a lot of inspiration and joy, which will act as fuel for our final stretch of running. Keep being awesome.

Safety first

As we made our way south, the boys team could not help but stop in awe when passing through the rainforest

We stopped at Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk, where we walked high above the ground

Don't feed this koala

Many thanks to the team at Skywalk. We had a wonderful time.

With some extra free time, we also visited The Glow Warm Caves at Tamborine Mountain, where George kindly gave us a very insightful tour of the artificially created and sustained glow worm caves, where a controlled environment is created for these fascinating creatures.

Final stretch of running to reach the beautiful Gold Coast. Running in a group is always nice when entering a city

Nina and Jana, who joined the team in Brisbane, are now ready to start the girls' stretch. They will run along the Gold Coast's beach; enjoy the promenade...

Not every day you get the chance to run on sand

We were wondering if koalas know where the 3km end or start

Surfers Paradise...

With sincere thanks, we recognise Woolworths for their continuous support as we make our way around Australia. You've been an integral part of this run.  Gratitude to Woolworths Coolangatta

We are truly grateful to Selina Tomlin, manager of Grill'd Healthy Burgers in Coolangatta, who, after hearing about the Peace Run, kindly offered free vegetarian burgers for the whole team. Selina is also a runner and was inspired to carry the Torch with us the following day

Thank you for the wonderful burgers, they were most delicious. What a pleasant treat for our team

Good night Gold Coast.
