The Brazilian section of the Southern American Peace Run started with conclusion of the Chile-Argentina-Uruguay section. Both teams met and had a momentous dinner together to commemorate the passing of the Peace Torch.

A secção Brasileira da Corrida da Paz Sul Americana começou com a conclusão da secção Chile-Argentina-Uruguai. Ambas as equipes se juntaram pra jantar e comemorar a passagem da Tocha da Paz.

The Brazilian team stayed at the Buenas Vibras in Montevideo City, Uruguay and enjoyed their hospitality.

A equipe Brasileira ficou alojada no hostel Buenas Vibras na cidade de Montevideo, no Uruguai e desfrutaram da sua hospitalidade.

We left the city around late morning and were able to get a glimpse of this beautiful city.

Deixámos a cidade durante a manhã e aproveitámos pra dar uma olhada pela bonita cidade.

On our way out we were looking for a quick coffee break and spontaneously met Artigas who was out doing his regular run. He invited us to his bicycle & coffee shop for complementary drinks and snacks.

Durante o caminho procurávamos um lugar pra tomar um café rápido e, espontaneamente encontrámos Artigas que estava correndo pela praia, e na sua alegria nos convidou para a sua Loja/Café de bikes pra tomarmos algo.

We shared stories of our sporting accomplishments.

Partilhámos histórias de nossas aventuras desportivas.

His generosity was very inspiring.

A sua generosidade foi muito inspiradora.

Around midday we stopped for lunch near the border of Uruguay for lunch and enjoyed some local delicacies.

Por volta do meio-dia parámos pra lanchar perto da fronteira com o Brasil para almoçar e desfrutar de iguarias locais.

We refueled ourselves and our vans to ensure is smooth to the border of Brazil.

Reabastecemo-nos e também às nossas carrinhas para assegurar uma boa viagem.

Lo and behold, we finally entered Brazil! Hurrayyyyy!

E eis que finalmente entrámos no Brasil!! Hurrayyyy!

We arrived around early evening to Santa Vitoria Do Palmar and went straight to dinner. Our dinner was kindly provided to us by Milano Sul Supermercados and Restaurante. We thank the manager, Camila and her team for offering us various nutritious food options.

Chegámos por no inicio da noite a Santa Vitória do Palmar e fomos logo jantar. O jantar foi-nos oferecido Pelos Supermecados e Restaurante Milano Sul. Agradecemos à gerente, Camila e à sua equipe por nos oferecerem uma refeição tão variada, nutritiva e saborosa.

The member of this grocery mall were the first brazillian local to hold the Torch.

Este membro da loja foi o primeiro local a segurar a Tocha.

Samalya from Germany is gearing up for some long and fast runs.

The composition created by these flock of birds and a beautiful sunset marked a peaceful beginning of our journey ahead.
