Our day starts at the Wise Academy, a wonderful school located on the grounds of the Masjid Al Hayy Mosque in Sanford, FL.

Santiva steps in to introduce the Peace Run team to the students.

The students were enthusiastic and respectful.

What US state has a woman in a harbor holding a torch?  And what does that torch stand for?

The Peace Run is pleased to present the Torch Bearer Award to a worthy recipient...

Edenis Torres' life is selfless and kind, a true torch bearer in all ways.

And a second Torch Bearer is recognized, young student Maryam whose humility and self effacing manner won the hearts of all those who know her.  That includes the team.  She seems to embody all the qualities that matter, goodness, kindness, self giving and enthusiasm, among others.

We are pleased to see the incredible and thoughtful artwork created by the students.  Selections will join "America, Our Oneness Home" exhibition to be displayed around America after the Peace Run finishes in August.

Thank you to the Wise Academy for Inviting the Peace Run Team to meet you and enjoy a few moments of your peaceful hopes and dreams for humanity. And a special thank you to Zainab Walli for making our visit possible.

Your artwork is priceless.

Your future's are so bright, we look forward to seeing how your incredible lives will inspire the world.

Gulm offers to take the team on a tour of the Mosque.  We are very happy to see and experience the beauty and prayerfulness of the inner and sacred areas.

Thank you students of the Wise Academy.

Then we move on to the Blue Springs for a brief respite and lunch next door to Florida's lovely manatee refuge.

And to have lunch in a beautiful and peaceful place.

Some team members saw manatees, but all of us enjoyed the beauty and peace of Blue Springs.

Next is the Walt Disney World Clubhouse, Boys & Girls Clubs of Florida.

Before we visit the kids, a Peace Run drum circle erupts spontaneously.

Then, the kids are ready for us.

New Zealand is here!

I was born in Mickey Mouse's first home, what state is that?

Peace Run is pleased to recognize two Torch Bearers.  Both of these young men grew up in this clubhouse and were compelled to come back as coaches and mentors.  The Boys and Girls Club is such a powerful force for good.  It has improved the lives of countless people and defined the way they live.

Now, who wants to join the Peace Train?

Malik Mapps is not only the engine of the Peace Train but the one who arranged our visit. Thank you Malik. We look forward to seeing you again!

Finally, a Sri Chinmoy Peace Tree dedication brings our amazing day as peace runners to a close.

"Every day I water the peace-plant in my heart-garden".  Sri Chinmoy.
