Next we arrive at the Landis Arboretum in Esperance, NY. Vijaya Luxmi is a great supporter of the Landis Arboretum. The Peace Run was pleased to offer her the Torch-Bearer Award for her dedicated service to its missions and for creating a Peace Garden.
Vijaya graciously welcomes each runner.
Fred "Tree Man" Breglia is the Executive Director of the Landis Arboretum that privately supports a public garden incorporating hundreds of acres in Schoharie and Montgomery Counties in New York State and is much loved in the community.
Thank you Vijaya for being a steward of peace. Your example and self giving life have improved your community in so many ways. We carry your own hopes for peace as we continue running.
