Our last stop on this year's itinerary is Malacky. It's Saturday morning, and you can feel the relaxed weekend atmosphere in the air.
Našou poslednou zastávkou na tohtoročnej trase sú Malacky. Je sobota ráno a vo vzduchu cítiť pohodu víkendu.
Nevertheless, we are incredibly happy that representatives from Skaut Malacky and TJ Sokol Gajary made time to meet us for an informal meeting.
Napriek tomu sme neskutočne radi, že si na naše stretnutie našli čas zástupcovia Skaut Malacky a TJ Sokol Gajary.
The meeting took place in a cheerful atmosphere, with everyone exchanging smiles. It’s clear to us that these are the right people in the right place.
Stretnutie sa nieslo v duchu dobrej nálady a vzájomnej výmeny úsmevov. Je nám jasné, že sú to správni ľudia na správnom mieste.

And some Dutch tourists who were biking by joined us and were happy to stop and hold the Peace torch.
A pridali sa k nám aj holandskí turisti, ktorí bicyklovali okolo a radi sa zastavili si podržať Mierovú pochodeň.
And our new Dutch friends didn't mind at all sharing their wish for a peaceful world out loud in front of the whole group.
A našim novým holandským priateľom vôbec nevadilo sa podeliť o svoje želanie pre mierový svet nahlas pred celou skupinou.
Hats off to the Scouts and "Sokol" - they accepted the challenge to run for peace. Actually, we didn’t even have to ask them much; they did it with a smile and even managed to crack a few jokes along the way. 😂
Všetka česť skautom a Sokolom - prijali výzvu si zabehnúť za mier. Vlastne sme ich vôbec ani nemuseli moc vyzývať, oni to urobili s úsmevom a ešte nám pritom stihli porozprávať pár vtipov. 😂
And here, the Sokol showed us their great shape - Mr. Németh (who, by the way, is also a soccer coach) took us out of town running along a beautiful bike path. Thank you very much!
A tu nám už Sokoli ukázali skvelú formu - p. Németh (ktorý je mimochodom aj futbalový tréner) nás bežecky vyviedol von z mesta, po peknej cyklotrase. Veľmi pekne ďakujeme!

Another wonderful year of the Slovak Peace Run is behind us. We wish the teams that will take up the baton plenty of strength, much joy from running and from meeting new friends, as well as much peace in their hearts and in the world.
Máme za sebou ďalší skvelý ročník slovenského Mierového behu. Tímom, ktorý preberú štafetu, želáme veľa síl, veľa radosti z behu a zo stretnutí nových priateľov, ako aj veľa mieru v srdci a na svete.
We’re approaching the Slovak-Czech border. On the bridge over the Morava River, we no longer have an escort vehicle, since the bridge is closed to traffic. This makes it all the more delightful to meet up with the Czech team, who were already waiting for us on the other side of the river.

Blížíme sa na slovensko-české hranice. Na moste cez rieku Morava už nemáme sprievodné vozidlo, keďže je uzavretý pre cestnú premávku. S o to väčšou radosťou sa stretávame s českým tímom, ktorý už na nás čakal na druhej strane rieky.

This year’s Slovak segment has come to an end, and we’ve covered the planned kilometers. However, our journey toward peace and our efforts to achieve both inner and outer peace continue. We look forward to more get-togethers and future events together. 🕊️🏃♀️🏃♂️
Tohtoročná slovenská trasa sa skončila a vytýčené kilometre máme za sebou. Naša cesta za mierom a úsilie o vnútorný i vonkajší mier však pokračujú ďalej. Tešíme sa na ďalšie spoločné stretnutia a akcie. 🕊️🏃♀️🏃♂️
