The day dawns over Snowdonia in Wales

Our accommodation is up on that hill, overlooking the boats and the bay.

Running to our first school, we meet curious passers by.

Our first school is Borth Y Gest near Porthmadog.

Dhavala introduces the Peace Run to the school of 33 students.

Our Welsh coordinator enjoys a moment of Peace.

Prabhavati Evans, our other Welsh coordinator, collects the children's artwork which will be displayed in Rome.

Running into Portmeirion.

Portmeirion is well known for the beauty of its gardens and its collection of wonderful buidings

In the gardens of Portmeirion is a statue of the founder of the Peace Run, Sri Chinmoy.

Children at Treferthyr School in Criccieth are eagerly waiting to hear about the Peace run.

The Peace Run is officially welcomed by the Chair of Criccieth Town Council, Cllr. Delyth Lloyd. Unfortunately the Councillor has temporarily lost her voice, so her speech is given by the Vice-Chair, Cllr. Dr Peter Harlech Jones.

Young four year old Lotsy, who is celebrating her birthday today, receives the Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of her school from the running team.

The Town Clerk, Dr Catrin Jones, holds the torch and presents a beautiful tapestry she has made. Dr Catrin Jones arranged the visit to the school today.

In the evening we enjoy a traditional British game of biscuit dunking.
