A great start into a new day!

We arrived in Avram Iancu and we were greeted by half of the village..

...push-ups for cheating...

The mayor welcomed our team...

...and he passed the torch to the children...

...a short symbolic Run...

...we enjoyed the nice refreshments..

...our team kept running. The temperature was rising up to 30ºC...

...a classical Romanian car: Dacia 1300...

As we arrived in Ciumeghiu, a group of kids awaited us....

...we were running through the community...

..and we arrived at the city hall. The mayor greeted us in the country colors...

...peace doves...

..we passed the torch to the mayor...

...a joyful presentation...

...and the mayor carried the torch for a peace lap...

We reached Salonta. Local runners awaited us....

...in Salonta we ran through the market area...

...an unusual route...

...Salonta celebrated it's 410th aniversary. We went on stage for a presentation...

The mayor received us with kind words...

...and kids performed for us...
