Today, the Team ran 177km from Clermont to Springsure. The day's schedule was tight. We met with three schools and one mayor

Our first school ceremony of the day was at Capella State School in Emerald City. Their school sign had a beautiful message that we all fit together. Definitely, a sense of belonging is important to feeling peaceful in our lives

We met with over 100 enthusiastic students. The principal, Kristy Plethers, welcomed us and received the certificate of appreciation. The teachers did a lap with the torch as the children cheered them up. The kids ran too. Thank you for an inspiring experience!

We hope that this beautiful artwork will find a place in the school to remind the onlookers that peace can be created in many ways

We met with a brilliant group of 190 students. They were very quick at guessing our countries of origin, even difficult ones

We started our run in Canberra three months ago. And, by the way, so far only a few runners know how to fold up our circular map. You need a PhD in origami to figure this thing out

Maggie, Heidi and Charlotte, the school captains, came forward to receive the certificate and peace artwork "Universal Love" by Sri Chinmoy

Some of the students are competitive 800-meter runners, so when we got to the running portion of the ceremony, it was speedy

Meanwhile, part of the team met with Central Highlands Regional Council Mayor Janice Moriarty and Cr Gillian Wilkins.

Councillor Gillian Wilkins started reading quotes from Sri Chinmoy's book "Listen to nature", which we gifted at the end of the meeting

In turn, Mayor Janice Moriarty gifted us pins in the shape of the Continent of Australia. And she said, "One world, one peace. We can all move forward with one heart, for the betterment of mankind!"

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Springsure Roadhouse and Caravan Park. Thank you for hosting us!
