Louise has had an association with Red Cross for the last 35 years and has taken on many roles setting up different services.
She has helped to settle more than 1000 people from over 30 countries as part of the Skilled Migrant Welcome Programme. In addition she has helped many refugees. Central to her role has been campaigning for community acceptance of new immigrants and fostering harmony in a diverse community where cultural differences are many. Louise strives to highlight the unique aspects of each culture through programmes such as the Harmony Day Concert and food celebration. She has served the community for many years, trying to make a difference in people's lives wherever possible.
