Reported by Pierre Lantuas 75.0 km

This morning we had a very special guest. H.E. Roberto Dormond-Cantu joined us all the way to Gatineau. He had participated in yesterday's activities and was thrilled. So we met at the eternal flame in front of the parliament buildings and he lit the torch for the very first steps of the day.

Pierre our French runner actually graduated in Costa Rica so they had a lot of stories to share.

As we crossed the Ottawa river we entered Québec and everyone greeted us saying Bonjour!

When the first team finished its stretch this morning the sun was already baking. This very kind lady offered us to enjoy her acces to the river and the runners were delighted to be able to cool down.
