We would like to say a special thank you to Gaétan St-Amand who drove almost 4 hours from Campbellton, NB to spend time with the Peace Run in Moncton yesterday! Gaétan's late brother Utsahi was a big supporter and organizer for the Peace Run for many years. It was great to have Gaétan with us. Merci pour la visite!
Claire Peabody is the energetic coach from the Mt. Allison University Cross-Country Team, who ran alongside her own team, family and the Peace Run team into town.
It was another unseasonably cold and windy day today so we took refuge in one of our support vehicles for a few minutes. It's been 8 to 10 celcius here over the last couple of days.
Sulabha and Pavaka invited this lovely and clearly resourceful roadside nurse turned carpenter along the way.
We had a nice time spending a few minutes at the Sackville farmer's market where we picked up some victuals, gifts and coffee!
