Many thanks to our generous host Keri from Waitomo Golf Ridge accommodation. We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house with great views.

The first school we visited today was Pukenui Primary School.

As we were running into St Joseph's Catholic School in Te Kuiti, a few students came out to meet us!

We were welcomed by the student leaders.

A big congratulations to these Student Peace Ambassadors who were chosen as representatives of all the ideals of the Peace Run! Thank you also to School Principal, Suzanne Downey, for organising our visit.

We took the opportunity to thank all the teachers and school representatives for the hard work they do every day.

We got back on the road and headed towards Piopio.

We ran to a beautiful Tongaporutu beach along the stunning coastal route.

Driving to our farm stay we encountered some goats on the side of the road!

Thank you Debra and Pete for hosting us at your amazing Gully Farmstays.
The views of the farm are absolutely stunning and full of peaceful serenity. We greatly enjoyed staying at your place.

As well as running a farm stay, Deb and Pete have many responsibilities, including maintaining a big garden, farm, and taking care of 6 dogs!
What a great end to a beautiful day!
