Bendigo - Maryborough

Reported by Daniel Rubin 70.0 km

Camp Hill Primary in Bendigo welcomes us with enthusiasm first thing in the morning!

A happy group !

Long straight roads, touched by a light rain - a runner's dream.

Golden fields of Canola crops line the way to Dunolly.

Dunolly Primary: lot's of questions and insights from inquisitive and bright children.

A significant meeting with the Mayor of Central Goldfields Shire Mr Geoff Lovett, his PA Marita Turner and Geoff's grandchildren.

This town has a railway station that is one of only two Unesco Heritage Buildings in Australia.

Great thanks to Sharon of Golden Country Motel and Caravan Park for donating splendid cabins for a very grateful team of runners.
