Our team started the morning with a run along April Bowl Trail around Hatchers Pass. The air was so crisp and pure.

As we arrived in Talkeetna, we were lucky to be greeted by the sound of the Alaska Railroad train horn.

We shared a moment of Peace with the students. We were all quite impressed how well behaved they were.
We love celebrating teachers when we visit schools. Being a teacher is a hard job and we could tell that all the student really love their teachers.

Once we assembled outside, we ran with all the students. Even though it was lightly raining outside, no-one seemed to mind. I guess the locals are used to moisture in the air.

The team runs into the charming downtown area of Talkeetna to meet the locals and visitors from around the world.
Two guys saw us run into town and sprinted enthusiastically to join us for a few blocks.
They were so proud of their town and we really enjoyed hearing about all the exciting things to do in Talkeetna.

The team had a great time visiting the legendary Talkeetna Roadhouse where we came across a plaque celebrating Mt. Denali becoming a Sri Chinmoy Peace-Blossom.
