Bristol - Chiseldon

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 42.0 km

In the morning we visit Elmea Infant and Junior Schools and then we run into the heart of Bristol to meet the Lord Mayor.

The Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Andrew Varney, welcomes the Peace Run team to Bristol.

Cities twinned with Bristol.

The statue of Raj Ramohan Roy, the great Indian pioneer.

In the afternoon we visit Longwell Green Primary School, where we receive an amazing welcome.

Every class has been working on a special Peace project to prepare for our visit.

Each class has the opportunity to reveal their work.

These are the values of the school.

The Head Teacher holds the Peace Torch.

Our final run of the day is across the Ridgeway to Chiseldon.

Many thanks to Aurelia, who offered us free breakfast at the premier Inn in Bristol.
