Today is the team's final day in Tasmania, spending the day in Launceston en route back to the mainland. As we were previously in Launceston on Saturday, today would be our chance to visit some schools ...

Launceston’s Legana Primary School welcomes us with sweet smiles and enthusiasm.

Everyone has lots of fun learning the World Harmony Run song. Children's joy is contagious.

Teacher Liz has done a wonderful job. Thank you so much for receiving the Peace Run team in your brand new school!

It's time for the peace runners to run uphill to West Launceston Primary School. They're cheered by the people from their windows!

Much fun, energy and wonder awaits the runners at West Launceston Primary School ...

"Which qualities can we find in our heart?" Anastasia asks the children. "Kindness!", one girl replies. "Love" another child says. Others raise their hand to reply: "Happiness", "God", "respect", "being nice to each other". All aspects of peace ...

What about a run with the Peace Torch in the drizzly rain out on the sports field? Kids are very happy to hold the Peace Torch and run passing the Torch to each other ...

After a fulfilling lunch at Cataract Gorge Reserve on South Esk River ...

... we met with some friendly peacocks amidst this beautiful nature.

On our final run through Launceston we meet people cheering us on.

One man meets Anastasia, does a few steps with her and with enthusiasm exclaims: "You've made my day!"
