We are very grateful to La Quinta Inn for their most generous offering of rooms! A good night of sleep is most welcome after a long day on the Peace Run.

Long after the Big Apple, here is a Big Watermelon. Guess who had the first slice?

Crosses and flags grow huge in Mississippi.

Arpan's first steps of the day.

Puroga travels faster than the mail.

Coming in after a very hot run!

We met this enthusiastic fundraisers for a local church and had a lot of fun with the children!

We ended our day at the Jackson City Hall. The local news just happened to be driving by and stopped to cover our arrival for the evening news.

The very kind newsman, Kevin, shares the torch with us before he left.

Meanwhile the women's team where putting in a lot of miles on the busy highway.

They ran through the quaint town of Magee and had some news coverage there.

Did you know that Mississippi is known as the Magnolia State?

More than once have the runners been surprised by kind passersby offering drinks spontaneously! Much appreciated.

Many locals were inspired to offer their goodwill to the run.

Yummy... The meal that was offered to us by Chili's Restaurant was very delicious.

The restaurant was very busy, but they still saved two tables for us.

We are very grateful for the kind service and the great dinner.

We are especially grateful to Melissa, the Manager who authorized the complimentary meals.
