Saint Louis

This Sunday at eleven before our run through the city, Sifir, the director of “Live Peace Festival”, partner of the Peace Run in Senegal, had an interview with the TV Station “DTV”.

The run started on “Place Faidherbes.”

And continued around the island of the city Saint-Louis.

The team is ready to run.

Children from the school “Limale Ndiaye” which we visited two days ago, joined the run today.

Team is on the move under the beautiful palm trees.

Prayer for Peace: “The way you pray is your personal choice” (in French “La priere libre”)

Stefan is cheerfully riding for peace.

The Peace Run visits the first parliament of Africa.

The landmark of Saint-Louis: “Faidherbes bridge” crossing the huge Senegal river.

At the end of the run, the children raise the peace torch with joy.

and inspire this family visiting from Dakar to follow the example.

We thank the people of the ambulance who accompanied us for the whole Run.

Students from seven different countries came to visit Saint-Louis and hold the torch.
