Hello Peace Run from Seattle!

Virtual Peace Run celebrates our Seattle highlights from 2018 with our visit to the Rainier Vista Boys and Girls Club...

Rainier Vista - 2018

Daniel Bagley School - 2018...

DB School - 2018

BF Day School - 2018...

And the Illumination Learning Center - 2018.

IN 2018: Peace Run is joined by long time friend and peace lover Ras Manhas who received the Torch Bearer Award at Silence Heart Nest Restaurant. Mr. Manhas pays tribute to Peace Run founder Sri Chinmoy at the statue of his likeness in Fremont.

Other Torch Bearer recipients in 2018, Peace Runners and friends joined a procession from the original event to Sri Chinmoy's statue.

In 2020, Peace Run can still happen with care and social distancing. Peace will always find a way to blossom.

Local friend and his daughter share in Seattles event today.

Songs, stories and a moment of silence keep the Peace Run tradition going in Seattle, 6 feet apart. Peace knows no separation.

Sri Chimony holds the permanent Peace Torch.

Nice mask Brian!

for our peace walk/run.

Ciana Johnson from North Beach Elementary School shared an "Expression of Peace" with us. Many youth around the world have offered their ideas and images of how important peace is during this changing time we live in.

Other students from North Beach shared their artwork as part of the 'Colors of Peace' project honoring the United Nations International Day of Peace.

A special thank you to Izabela Gabrielson from North Beach Elementary School for inviting her students to participate in the Expressions of Peace and Colors of Peace programs. She and her husbank Paul are seen here, during Northwest Folklife in 2019.

Around the world, runners join our virtual team by running in their country and carrying peace and America in their hearts. Marina in San Diego...

Vasanti in Heidelberg, Germany,

Australian teammate and ultradistance runner Grahak Cunningham adds his kilometers to the US total. Here he opens a recent peace gallery in Perth featuring artwork by Peace Run founder, Sri Chinmoy.
