Bethesda, Washington - Charlottesville, Virginia

Reported by Nikolaus Drekonja 117.0 mi

The Peace Run participated in the Charlottesville Dogwood Parade with the RV as a float. It was a beautiful sunny day and our runners carried torches and gave out candy to young and old alike. The festival and parade theme was "Choose Kindness", so we were inspired to spread good cheer and make merry with all.

A big THANK YOU to Larissa from Roots Natural Kitchen for providing most delicious meals for the team. We loved it! Roots Natural Kitchen already supported the Peace Run with meals in 2018! They are located only a few steps away from the University of Virginia.
