Tuggen - Zurich

Reported by Devashishu Torpy 43.0 km

A quite morning in Switzerland. We enjoyed a nice run through the country side...

In Altendorf we had a surprise meeting with the local school.

...did we sing so bad?

...it was Friday afternoon, so a small group of kids was all we could find. Nevertheless, it was fun!

...a final Run across the school yard...

Thank you Altendorf for the spontaneous meeting!

We reached Wädenswil.

The mayor welcomed us near the lake...

...a symbolic Run and the mayor treated us for hot drinks and snacks. Thank you for the hospitality!

Pushkar, our Swiss coordinator, was in a playful mood...

Sukham tried, too. He was less fortunate...

...obstacles...

...the Run around the Zurich lake was very inspiring.

We met new runner friends...

We reached our final destination: Museum Rietberg. A Peace Tree, planted in 1976, marked the end of our 4-day Run through Switzerland.

In the evening we went to Winterthur to visit a African city festival.

Together with our local friends we gave a short concert on the main stage..

...a great drumming perfromance...

After the musical presentation we passed the torch around...

Thank you Switzerland for the nice time we spent! We really enjoyed the hospitality and the friendship!
