Longtown, OK - Seminole, OK

Reported by Tanuja Konečná 71.0 mi

We spent our last night in Eufaula, OK. Rhonda, the owner of the American Cabins, was very generous to let us stay in two of her beautiful cabins.

Sveta starts the day,
Two miles at the time,
Let's see what and who we meet today
It looks like another Oklahoma windy sunny day.
A beautiful day.

On our way we see horses...

"Wait a minute, I am a donkey"
My apologies Mister Donkey.
We meet donkeys too !!

Rupasi loves horses,
They eat from her hand
And after the greeting
They return to their homeland.

Donkey came to Zuzka,
Wanted her to play,
She shows him the torch
and explains that she has to run away.

Virangini stays a little longer with the playful donkey.

Happy running!

Oops! What's wrong with the car?

For fixing up just anything,
Arpan is the Star.

We always meet lovely people sharing love for peace.

To fill the torch properly is one of the most important tasks,
the filler always makes sure that the flame lasts.

Virangini through the eyes of grass.

Sveta and her eternal smile.

Oklahoma's rolling hills.
You never only go down in life,
You have to climb higher and higher,
deep within you dive.

Our visit to Wetumka Elementary School.

It is the last day of school today,
Before kids go home,
Let's hear about peace, hurray!

Yes, peace is very important for each and everyone.

Peace starts in every little heart,
Peace we can imagine and feel,
Just touch your heart, close your eyes,
Enter your heart and stay still.

Learning the World Harmony Run song is always fun,
singing and acting the words: run, fullness, oneness, sun...

Virangini presents the Certificate of Appreciation to the Principal Ms. Robin Gann.

Principal Ms. Robin Gann with one of the school teachers and two children with the Certificate and a beautiful artwork by the founder of Peace Run Sri Chinmoy.
Harita is expressing our hearts gratitude for the schools participation in our Oneness Home Peace Run.

Teachers running with the torch around the auditorium cheered by all the children.

As they walk out of their school, they hold the torch and make their wish for peace.

Principal Ms. Gann with her dreams for a peaceful world.

Thank you Ms. Gann for kindly organizing our meeting with the school children. Thank you Wetumka Elementary School.

No better way to end the day :)

Our cars get to cool down too :)

...and a hearty meal at the end.

Many thanks to the Mexican restaurant Cazadorez for the delicious dinner.
