Mother nature embraced the Peace Runners last night in the pristine Gualala River Redwood Park. We loved it! Especially the revitalising, crystal clear river. Thank you Sarah for hosting us!

Atul doing his early morning run.

Our first stop was at Point Arena Union School. Children sang the World-Harmony Run song composed by the Founder of the Run, Sri Chinmoy.

The local Pastor came to the school to say a heartfelt prayer for us.

Today was also pajama day for some classes.

Just down the road, the local charter school invited the Peace Runners to have lunch together with the students. New friends were made, games played and we felt so at home inside the school's community.

The Director of the school, Sigrid, cooked a delicious meal with a lot of love. Peace Runners are excellent eaters! Thank you so much.

In the afternoon the men's team visited the Community Center of Mendocino!

Peg, the Director, holds the torch.

No one could believe their luck tonight! Ravens Restaurant hosted the team and served gourmet vegan food that was out of this world with ingredients from its own farm. Everything tasted absolutely fantastic and the servers were so friendly.

But things got even better as we met Cherish and Lakshman who joined us for dinner. Our hearts became one immediately and we enjoyed the food and talked together the whole evening. They are both teachers in San Jose and do many sacred relay runs simillar to our Peace Runs. It was a true joy to meet you guys!

Please send us a message, we would LOVE to hear from you.
