We started our running in Stanley Park in Vancouver. Three local runners, Angela, Mel and Susan joined us.

Nous avons commencé notre course à Stanley Park ( Parc Stanley) à Vancouver. Trois coureurs de la ville, Angela, Mel et Susan se sont joints à nous.

Atul, in front of a statue of the famous sprinter Harry Winston Jerome, who set many world and national records.

Atul, face à la statut du fameux sprinter Harry Winston Jerome, qui a remporté plusieurs records à l’échelle nationale et mondiale.

It was a beautiful day - fresh air, sun, we ran along the water, good company - fantastic!

C’était une très belle journée - l’air frais, le soleil - nous avons couru près de l’eau — bonne compagnie - fantastique.

Angela, the lady holding the torch, is a Chi running master instructor. She gave some of us much appreciated advice on our running form.

Angela, qui tient le Flambeau, est une Maître-Instructeure du «Chi Running». Elle nous a donné des conseils très appréciés sur notre façon de courir.

We were joined near the border by new Peace Run team members to help carry the torch back into the United States.

Un nouvelle Équipe de Coureurs de la Paix nous a rejoint près de la frontière afin de nous aider à relayer le Flambeau de retour au États-Unis.

This magnificent Peace Arch marks the border between Canada and the USA.

Cette magnifique Arche de Paix balise la frontière entre le Canada et les États-Unis.

It was such a pleasure to meet with City Council member Meg Olsen from Blaine, WA under the Peace Arch. The runners introduced themselves and sang the "Peace Run Song", composed by the Founder of the Run, Sri Chinmoy.

Il a été un très grand plaisir de rencontrer la Conseillère Municipale Meg Olsen de Blaine, WA, sous l’Arche de Paix. Les coureurs se sont introduits et offert le chant-thème de la Course de la Paix composé par le Fondateur de la Course, Sri Chinmoy.

In the afternoon the Peace Runners were invited to a college baseball game between the Bellingham Bells and the Portland Pickles. At half time our team, together with local children, ran one loop around the field with the torch.

En après-midi, les Coureurs de la Paix étaient invités à une partie de baseball collégial entre les « Bellingham Bells » et les « Portland Pickles ». À la moitié de la partie, notre Équipe de course avec les enfants de la place, ont couru une boucle autour du champs avec le Flambeau.

Afterwards spectators got a chance to hold the torch and make a wish for Peace.

À la suite, les spectateurs ont eu la chance de tenir le Flambeau et offrir un voeu pour la Paix.
