Becky Black is a torch-bearer award alumni from 2012 for her work with children in the Portland area. She organised this event for us which we are grateful for.

Ron and Linda Popkin were presented the Torch-Bearer Award for their outstanding and unstinting service in the community. Ron has worked with street youth and taught them chess and has served on the board of Oregon Outreach for many years. Linda has worked with those who are incarcerated and has supported Ron through all his efforts.

Ron, Linda and Becky are presented this special painting by Sri Chinmoy called 'Peace Feeds the Children'.
