Our running day starts.

Friends on the road...

Anna enjoys her last day on the Peace Run. We are very grateful to her for her dedicated service for two months and the many miles logged on the road with the Torch.

Happy smiles on the way.

Harita and Palash running together on one of Palash's last runs.

Steve and Kate's Camp gladly received the Peace Run...

...and the kids enthusiastically run with the torch.

Fast forward, and we are welcomed by the kids of the Federal Way Community Center.

Already getting enthusiastic during the country guessing game.

Singing the World Harmony Run Song.
Here they are singing about "Tomorrow's Sun"...

Peace can be felt in the heart.

Showing what peace is, and sometimes what is not, with skits.

Our little gift for the Federal Way Community Center.

If we can all have peace, we can all also have torches!

If you look carefully you can see Mt. Rainier in the background above the trees.

Jagadhata on one of his last runs before having to leave us in Seattle.

Giving an interview...

Joe and the journalist in Yelm. We are grateful to him for coming out to cover our run through town.

...and finally we reached the beach.

We then headed for Providence Mount St.Vincent, where an eager crowd awaited us.

Young and old alike shared in our program.

Big and small alike...

The children joined us in the actions to one of our songs composed by Sri Chinmoy, founder of the Peace Run.

Abanna, our coordinator for this event, also works at the preschool here. She shows us a book made with artwork from the kids. We were delighted to receive a gift made by the kids themselves.

Offering our Certificate of Appreciation.

Dogs are really a person best friends.

Woof Woof!!

Heading out for a peace walk.

It was a long train of participants in our Peace Walk around the building.

Charlene, Director of the facility, holds the torch as one of the senior members accepts a peace painting by Sri Chinmoy.

A most welcome and delicious treat ended our visit!

Snowcones for everybody, Yumm...
Thank you Mount St. Vincent.

Please send us a message, we would LOVE to hear from you!

See who is sending us messages.

The honorable Mayor of Renton City, Mayor Denis Law, graciously offered The Peace Run a Proclamation dedicating June 23, 2014 as Peace Run Day. Receiving the Proclamation is local Seattle Coordinator, Rupasi Young. Thank you Renton City, a great end to a big day!
